THE LEGACY OF
CARWASH DISCO
Conceptualized and launched on August 5, 1996, Carwash Disco was founded by Militsa and Savvas with early creative direction from DJ Steve Altman. While Ayia Napa evolved into a globally recognized epicenter for youth tourism and EDM, we took a different path.
Unlike modern superclubs that rely on cutting-edge electronic dance music or specialized urban genres, Carwash Disco explicitly commodifies nostalgia. From our iconic yellow Mini Cooper DJ booth to our legendary fire shows, we have cultivated a specific, highly durable niche within the local entertainment ecosystem.
We are proud to be universally recognized as one of the most inclusive spaces in the resort. We actively court and successfully capture a massive, cross-generational audience, guaranteeing a high-energy, unpretentious atmosphere where everyone from 18-year-olds to seasoned veterans is welcome to dance until 5:00 AM.
Sonic Architecture
The musical policy is the core of our brand. We span pop, rock, and dance hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s & 00s, intentionally selecting tracks that prioritize high recognition and physical participation.
Resident DJs
Our auditory environment is curated by resident DJs who specialize in retrospective formats. Featuring legendary sets from DJ Stelios Stylianou, Karvelas, and veteran Trevor Moore.
